Eco at Rivelin

The Eco Warriors has been set up at Rivelin with the intent of making our school more environmentally friendly.

This year we will be using the following strategies to make sure that we are doing our part for the environment:

Eco warriors

. Following the Eco Schools (Green Flag) framework to evidence the impact that our school is having.

. There will be 2 representatives per year group from years 1-6.

. As a form of pupil leadership, pupils will be easily identifiable wearing a green jumper and an Eco warriors’ badge.

. Half termly meetings will be held working through the Eco school’s framework and minutes of each meeting will be taken by the leader of the meeting (MR Smith). Minutes of meeting to be published on the website.

. Creating links with the school garden – working with Eco Warriors to et ideas for the school garden and using the school garden to help us gain our Green flag award.
